Relaxing Thai Massage in Nuat Thai Pearl Drive

Saving my Monday by relaxing in Nuat Thai was worth it. Since Monday is Memorial Day in US and our office was closed, me and Glenn (was on leave that time) decided to visit Nuat Thai to get a Thai Massage. Believe me the experience was amazing.

I enjoyed my Thai massage for only 300 pesos whole body massage with oil. I loved the stretching with different positions. The message Therapist ask me to choose from hard and soft and I chose the hard massage. As expected it was hard and I bit painful at first, but I was able to enjoy it specially the stretching.

What are the things I love in Nuat Thai :

1. Relaxing spa scent and sounds.
2. Beautiful receiving area with Thai Buddha furniture.
3. Accommodating massage therapist.( They will offer you a tea after your massage.)
4. Washing of feet before the message session. (The therapist will wash your feet with menthol scented soap and give you slippers.)
5. Caring and Courteous  message therapist.
6. Affordable whole body massage.

To the disclaimer: I was not paid to do this blog/ review. I simply shared my lovely experience about the service and the place.

Bonding Moments with my Brother and Sisters

Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet.  ~ Vietnamese Proverb
It's been a year since I started having a new life as an IT professional. I been working many kilometers away from home and so later on I decided to move near my work. I am currently boarding in Makati.  At first I find hard to adjust but later on I was able to cope with hot, polluted and  high cost of living city. I am now independently living for myself. I only come for home every weekend to see my family, and then go back to boarding house.

Then, just come up with a realization how much I miss my family especially my brother and sisters. Whenever I'm home I usually sleep or going out with Glenn. I miss bonding with them.  They have alot of bonding that we never use to have before like watching basketball games, talking alot of things (most of the time non sense), cracking not so funny jokes and more. To make bawi for all the missed moments with them. I  tried getting close again to them by asking them to eat with me once in awhile, to come with me in The Feast(Happiest Place on earth ) and more. It's quite expensive yet I'm happy to know that I'm investing happy and unforgettable moments with them by taking responsible with other bills in our house and by sweet treats.

It was nice growing up with someone like you - someone to lean on, someone to count on...someone to tell on. I love you all :)

More treats soon. . .

Mother’s Day: Sweet Treat 2012

I grew up looking at my mother as monster mom. When I was young she was hard on us. She shouts, she threw negative words to us, not really supportive; she disciplined us the hard way. She was a grumpy mother she talks a lot (she can do sermon all day long). I grew up hating her until I realize her great value to our family. As I grow mature I realize that her imperfections are coming from her experiences when she was younger. I also realize that behind these imperfections, she is indeed a great and responsible mother.

She’s there beside us when we are sick, making sure we are well. She is also protective to us. She gets mad when someone is treating us not well.  She cares and loves us even there are times we disobey her. Knowing all these I realize how lucky we are and we love her so much.

Since mother’s day was celebrated every 2nd week of May. I also wanted to recognize mama for being here with us, for the care, love and patience. We bought a cake from Red Ribbon and flowers which she appreciated. We had a lot of pictures together and we have fun all the day laughing and enjoying the day.

Pictures of this great day are posted below:

It was indeed a grateful day for mama and for the whole family. Next in the list Father's day.

Happy,
