My day had just started
After a month of
planning for the big celebration the day has just come. I and the rest of the
barkada just planned a night swimming for my birthday and for us to reunite
after a long weeks of not seeing each other. After long thread of emails and a
lot of exchanged text messages and phone calls we have finally set the day.
It was Aiyin’s
(my niece) 1st Birthday and my birthday as well. My day actually
started with greetings from workmates and friends in FB wishing me a happy
birthday. The day was so well and after
ending my shift I had very smooth travel going home which made me more relax
and worry free.
After Aiyin’s
Christening and a short deep sleep, the big night has just came. Glenn just
came home to pick me up and he was late! (I was a bit disappointed because I
waited for him for an hour, but then he was able to take off my inis
eventually.) After buying necessary stuff for the night swimming finally we
were on the way to Pacific Waves Resort. I was too sorry for being late to all
my friends who patiently waited us. Buti na lang it’s my birthday . . . but
still they keep on teasing me for the penalty which do not work because my
wallet is almost in 0.00 balance :P
It’s Bonding Time
I am happy to
see my friends with their partner to be with me in my birthday. I am also surprised with plenty of foods they
have prepared.

I called it a feast: each shared something for our meal. |
With yellow ribbon: Euly played with the cake ribbon and put it on the top of our food to commemorate EDSA day :P |
I deeply thank each and everyone
for bringing in something.
Eden and L.A for the plate and
other disposable utensils plus big pakwan
Shey for bringing hotdog, tocino
etc. and for the water jog
Eloh and Anjs for sharing with us
adobo, lumpiang shanghai and healthy sandwiches
Cha and Nolan your presence in
enough . . .
And Glenn for my cake :D
After the eating and bonding
session (never ending story sharing) we have lighted up 3 lanterns. It was so amazing
as we see each one of the lanterns fly and give light in the dark sky. We as
well as the other people in the resort were happily watching the lanterns flew
away.
Below are pictures taken during
the lighting up of lanterns.
It’s swimming time. After
changing our swimwear we all had started to dive in the cold water pool. Group pictures taken during swimming were all taken by Eloh.
It was 11:00 PM when everyone
decided packing things up to get ready going home. It was indeed a big day for
me and for the barkada. New happy memories have made, I wish we’ll do it often
so we can have fun, enjoy and relax together. I am hoping for part 2 :D Thank you friends for
making my 21’st a memorable one.
